As usual, don't know when thisisgoing to get posted....but it's the pictures that go along with the long narrative I did yesterday at the Pangman Library in this wonderfully rustic town of about 230 folks.
The first photo of that huge red coat on a horse is about 30 feet tall (they do things BIG up here...remember the Pocohantis statue?). That was where we had lunch and was outside of Redvers, SK.
The next picturs are of Pangman library, the "centennial recreation center" where we are camped and then, finally, the pic of the camp that Chris set up while I was at the library doing the last post ont he 6th. This rec. center looks like it's abandoned...however, I tend to think it not, because the grass was cut. I'm sure it comes alive at times. This little town is awesome. The folks I met in the library couldn't believe that we were traveling secondary roads accross Canada. But, one really sees the country this way. The roads have been good, few trucks...a lot of nothing in between small towns. Most delightful. The gas costs are way more that in Indiana.
Enough for tonight. Seems like a storm is comming again. We had a beautiful evening here; sunny, warm. Now it's overcast and windy. We got things put away just in time for the rain....but the rain didn't last long...still seems like more is comming. I guess the night will be "shake, rattle and roll" again. It's like getting rocked to sleep on a boat...very relaxing.
g'night.
