some place where I can pick up WiFi. Been doing pretty well at it thus,
far...but we haven't been gone a week...duh. Haven't taken many scenery
pictures. It's been rainy, but we actually had blue sky this evening.
Met another couple from Illinois who are on their way to Alaska also. Fancy
that. We got to Grand Fork, ND and looked for the Cabela's to use their
parking lot for the night, seeing as Wal-Mart was so hospitable last night.
It was a super small store and right in the middle of town (actually accross
the river in East Grand Fork,MN and had a very small parking lot; just
didn't feel right. So we headed out of town to the Turtle River State
Campground. Very nice; met some folks from Manitoba and chatted with them
during the evening.
Tomorrow we will enter Canada, but not where we had been planning. We'll be
going a bit further west in North Dakota and then go north. Should be in
Canada by noon or so.
